For millennia, the universe anticipated Christ's mortal incarnation. The selection of Joseph and Mary was based on specific spiritual, racial, and personal qualifications, making them the ideal parents for Jesus, the Son of Paradise.
For tens of thousands of years, the entire universe looked forward to Christ’s bestowal in the likeness of mortal flesh: God and man, Christ and Jesus. Several studies commenced to pick a planet, a nationality, and a couple who would provide the right environment for such a momentous event. Earth was chosen for its unique challenges and opportunities, the Hebrew race for its spiritual lineage, and Joseph and Mary for their exceptional qualities. Then, it happened. Jesus was conceived and born into the world just as all other babies before and since except that this particular baby was the incarnation of a divine son, the creator of all things and beings in our local universe.
This selection of our planet and Joseph and Mary was not random but the culmination of extensive celestial planning and analysis, primarily orchestrated by the Melchizedeks and overseen by Gabriel, the chief executive of our local universe. The criteria for choosing a planet involved identifying one where the light of divine revelation could shine brightly against the backdrop of spiritual darkness – a condition met by our planet due to the repercussions of the Lucifer Rebellion over 200,000 years ago. Gabriel's meticulous examination of global conditions favored the Hebrews for their potential to nurture and disseminate the teachings of Jesus.
Following Christ Michael's approval of this choice, Gabriel appointed twelve from among the higher orders of the universe and formed the Family Commission to study Jewish family life. They proposed three prospective unions, each equally desirable. Gabriel made the personal choice of Joseph and Mary and, soon thereafter, he made a personal appearance to Mary that she had been selected to become the earth mother of the bestowal child.
The incarnation of God as man, through Jesus, represents a profound mystery and miracle of the universe. This divine strategy embodied the natural process of human birth to underscore God's intimate involvement in the human experience. A baby is conceived, develops in the mother’s womb, and is born, as are all babies. The executives of our universe did a study of earth, its peoples, and which couples wanted children. Mary and Joseph, who were married, conceived a child and the Son of God incarnated at the point of natural conception.
Joseph, the father of Jesus, was a Hebrew, but his female ancestors had added many non-Jewish racial strains to his ancestral tree. The father of Jesus traced his ancestry to Abraham, then to the Sumerians, Nodites, and other ancient strains. David, Solomon, and Adam were not Joseph's direct ancestors. The mechanics in Joseph's family were builders, carpenters, masons, and smiths. Joseph worked as a carpenter and contractor. His family was part of a long and distinguished line of common nobility, enriched by the occasional appearance of unusual figures who had contributed to religion's development.
Mary, the mother of Jesus, descended from many of the most remarkable women in our planet's racial history. Mary was a normal woman of her time, but she had ancestors like Annon, Tamar, Ruth, Bathsheba, Ansie, Cloa, Eve, Enta, and Ratta. No Jewish woman of that time had a more distinguished lineage of common ancestors. Like Joseph, Mary's ancestry was dominated by strong but average people, punctuated by many outstanding figures as civilization and religion progressed. Mary was Jewish in culture and belief, but her racial inheritance was more general than Joseph's, being a mix of Syrian, Hittite, Phoenician, Greek, and Egyptian stocks.
Together, it was determined that Joseph and Mary had the best combination of widespread racial connections and superior personality endowments of all Palestinian couples at the time of Christ Michael''s projected bestowal. He wanted to appear on earth as an average man so the common people could understand and accept him. It was for these reasons that Gabriel chose Joseph and Mary as bestowal parents.
