In 26 CE, Jesus and his apostles underwent intensive training and preparation. Following this period, they organized roles from logistics to finance, ensuring they could devote themselves efficiently to their mission of spreading the gospel.
In the latter half of 26 CE, Jesus and his newly formed group of apostles underwent a significant phase of intensive training and preparation, combining personal labor with spiritual instruction. Following this period, the apostles organized their roles to handle various responsibilities efficiently, with Andrew leading as the chairman, various apostles handling tasks ranging from personal companionship to Jesus, managing finances, overseeing family needs, and arranging logistics and recreation. And they did all of this while ensuring they could fully commit to their spiritual mission without financial worries for their families.
After a period dedicated to intensive training, Jesus and his new apostles engaged in rigorous preparation, weaving personal labor with spiritual instruction. This phase, which took place in the latter half of 26 CE, not only strengthened their dedication but also brought their understanding of Jesus' teachings in line with the actual manifestation of his spiritual kingdom. They distinguished Jesus’ direct lessons from potential future misinterpretations, focusing solely on the message of the gospel rather than the glorification of Jesus himself. This foundational time was crucial, setting a precedent for their future endeavors in spreading the gospel effectively and with clarity.
By the end of this period, the twelve had devised satisfactory plans for the care of their families. The majority of the apostles were married, and some had multiple children. However, they had arranged for the support of their families in such a way that they could devote their entire energies to the Master's work with the assistance of the apostolic funds and without concern for the financial well-being of their families.
To most effectively accomplish the multiple tasks that needed to be done, they organized themselves as follows:
The apostles were ordained ministers whose jobs were ambassadors of the kingdom and preachers of the word of God. They also provided the critical support listed above which underlined their success.
